Right so guys I have no clue what’s going on but it’s so wierd. So basically my vagina has been sooo itchy and irritated for the past couple days to the point of bleeding (not from the inside but like the literal skin/organ or whatever from itching). I know the best thing I can do is to leave it but something has really caught my eye so basically on one of my inner lips I have like a red spot thing and it’s like quite big. It doesn’t hurt to touch but I don’t know what it is or what to do. It’s not something to do with STDs as me and my boyfriend have been sexually active for a year now and neither of us have anything like that as we where both virgins and we both just know so if it was an std, I would of gotten it ages ago. It’s kinda scaring me so should I wait or go to doctors?

Just to make things clear about the spot, it’s like the size of like a regular acne spot and it feels like a skin tag. It’s not full of pus or anything so it’s just wierd. Also to add, I am a clean person so I have been washing (only with water down there) regularly.

Could be a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. Also being virgins doesn't guarantee you can't pass on an STI so you should get tested anyway (for STIs and the above.]

@aurielle It has never happened before so I doubt an std as like I said we have been sexually active for a year now so it would of happened sooner and my boyfriend has actually been tested for them as he has a thing with his kidneys (negative btw). Anyways does anyone reading have any advice please. :)

Doctor. I wouldn’t see why you would wait if you’re that uncomfortable! Also wouldn’t rule out any stds. You never know. They can show up at any point in your life even if you’ve never had symptoms before. But it sounds like a yeast infection cause you’re so itchy. And I think sores can pop up when it’s a severe yeast infection.

Sounds like a yeast infection. The spot could also be an ingrown hair. But it's also worth noting that some STIs can be passed other ways, like HSV can be passed by (for example) your partner drinking after someone with a cold sore (or about to get one but not showing it yet) and then later on performing oral sex on you not realizing they've been exposed. A visit to the doctor would be a good idea just to rule everything out.
