Recently I had my Pap smear, doctor surgery rang me to tell me that my results were clear but they were prescribing me treatment for thrush. I collected the treatment and use the pessary on Thursday night befor going to bed. I expected to have some discharge etc. the discharge was like red chalk, once the chalky discharge stopped i started bleeding on Saturday evening and I have still light bleeding but it has gone from red to a brown. Has anyone experienced this before? I do plan on ringing my surgery tomorrow but if there was anyone who could share of this has happened they before it would ease my mind

The pessary comes out like that, it’s quite messy, that’s normal. Sounds like you started bleeding, that’s why it was red.
