i started my birth control a week ago, and started my period today. it’s my first period since having my baby. do i keep taking the active pills or skip to the placebo pills? i’m so confused im sorry if this sounds so dumb

You should always take your pills as instructed by the pamphlet, experiencing side effects like bleeding does not change how you’re supposed to take your pill. So keep taking the active pills. Any bleeding on the pill is a not real natural period btw, it’s a just a side effect of the pill

In your other post you said you started roughly a week ago. So you should be taking your active pills. Bleeding does not determine how you should take your pill, follow your instructions. Your body needs to get used to the pill again so you may experience side effects for the best 3-6 months.
