i started desogesterol (mini pill) about 3 months ago and i have NOT stopped bleeding. it’s not a lot but it’s every day and its enough to have to wear a pad, and im absolutely fed up of it. do i change pill, and if so which would you recommend? or do i just leave it longer and see if it stops ?

You could change if the bleeding is relatively heavy, but it won’t guarantee it’ll be better

You could wait it out a couple more months (adjustment phase is up to 6 months) or talk to your doctor about changing since it's significantly bothering you. Is there any reason you can't be on a combined pill? Typically estrogen helps regulate bleeding.

@aurielle i was on combined for about 4 years and it really messed with my mental health, i came off all pills last november and then came on the mini this october :( ill wait it out another 3 months and then see how it is because i have no other side effects so if there was no bleeding id be fine. thank you!
