Does anyone know how to tell the difference between a yeast infection and a uti?? My doctor is always booked out a month in advance and idk what’s going on down but I need some advice on what can get rid of this 🥲 I tried researching but I swear UTIs and yeast infections have the exact same symptoms. Any home remedy advice?

If it’s a uti azo usually works for me but if it’s a yeast infection u gonna need some monistat and some boric acid suppositories u can also go on Amazon and talk to a doctor for a small fee and they can prescribe you something if needed

I usually do and it helps ngl I drink the whole gallon of cranberry juice with ice cube if it really burns when I pee and hear me out if it burns when u pee putting a little bit of Vick vapor rub in ur belly button helps or an ice cube but if u have more like an itching sensation monistat7 or the have a 3 day one just know that one is a little bit stronger n I notice if I use the 3 day one it dries me up down there so definitely look in to a boric acid gel for after care I haven’t had either in years since I got my iud out but these things are things that worked for me maybe give them a try I know it sounds weird but my household is Hispanic and a lot of their remedies are weird but they work

You need antibiotics for a UTI. You can’t treat it at home. Go to the emergency room and get your urine checked. Untreated UTI’s can cause damage to your kidneys.

UTIs usually involve urges to pee frequently and discomfort while peeing. Yeast infections typically cause itching and irritation on the vulva. I guess there's some overlap, but having had both, they felt different to me

I would suggest going to an urgent care to get treated

UTIs= pain urinating, lower abdomen pain, frequent and urgent urination, cloudy urine. Irritation/uncomfort of pee hole. No change in discharge. Needs antibiotics. Yeast infection= vulvar itching, burning feeling of the skin, thick/chunky discharge with no smell. Sometimes pain peeing but this is rarer. Can be treated with at home kits (canesten/monistat/fluconazole tablet) if your sure it’s yeast.
