Any tips/advice/things to know on getting the implant? Getting it next Thursday super nervous. My mum is coming with me for moral support lol I’m 20.

What exactly are you wondering about? I got my second implant half a year ago so I can definitely try and answer some questions. General tips I have is that I would take the day off, and your arm may have some bruising and soreness after insertion but it will go away.

@Yi_eune just like interactions or anything you experienced in the first few weeks. How did you find insertion proces- pain etc. I’ll be off work/uni that day thank god! X

@hellok1tty my insertion was quite painful because I used nothing to numb the area. Other than the soreness and bruising I did not really experience side effects. I do remember having light headaches for 2 weeks after I got mine but I was also a bit unwell at the time so it might not have been because of the implant. Overall my experience these 3 and a half years has been very positive!
