I’m someone who gets utis, about 3 a year normally and always get them from forgetting to pee after sex, this time around i had one new years and went through antibiotics and randomly got one a week later, I woke up with blood in my pee and haven’t had sex yet. What could this be from? My antibiotic worked this time around and I haven’t done anything abnormal if anything I’ve been super clean and hydrated!

If you got it again a week later it’s most likely not cleared up the entire infection. Or you may need to try a different treatment. It you have UTI’s that often you should probably be on probiotics and start forcing yourself to use the toilet after sex to avoid it as much as possible. It’s not good for you to have infections and needing antibiotics so frequently so it might be a good idea to see a urologist if it continues.

Are you sure the blood is in your pee and not from breakthrough bleeding/period? If so I would say the infection didn't actually clear
