I am moving from Destrogel to Logynon ED, I have 2 destrogel pills left in my pack and I’m wondering once those are done is it safe to simply just start taking my Logynon? Just wondering because online I saw some people saying it’s better to start taking new birth control after having a period.

I don't see any advantage to waiting for a bleed to start your new pill, I think it's fine to start it immediately after finishing your other pill. Just be aware you may not be protected immediately

i switched from desogestrogel to rigevidon about a month ago and the pharmacist said it was completely fine to start the new one immediately so it should be fine

Your new pamphlet has instructions on how you should swap from your old pill onto your new one. Please look it up and follow the steps.
