Hi I just came off amoxicillin for an ear infection that I had and I’ve heard mixed opinions about it messing with bc. I read through my pamphlet and it didn’t say anything about antibiotics and I remained sexually active. I usually get my period on Wednesdays or Tuesday nights but today on a Monday I got pinkish brown discharge. Should I be concerned? I’m on estarylla

No need to be concerned, those antibiotics don’t affect your birthcontrol but as you were sick, that puts stress on your body which can make you break through bleed or not bleed at all, as long as you took your pills correctly there’s no need to worry

Ive been on medication at the same time and I did cause me problems. I was bleeding a lot and having cramping and everything. But defo do your research and consult a professional
