For those of you who live in places with very distinct seasons, what's your storage solution for fall/winter clothes during the summer and vice versa? My current house has only two closets total and they're not very big, not large enough to store me and my fiance's clothes from all seasons and the other stuff that needs to go in the closet (vaccum cleaner, mop, etc.) Trying to figure out the best way to keep our cold weather or warm weather clothes that's tidy but easy to swap out when the weather changes.

I have an ottoman bed & footstool now which are lifesavers. I used to use long storage boxes under my bed though. I know they’re not really popular in the US but could you get a free standing wardrobe or a clothes rail? I used to have a nice rail for extra clothes

@Awg1 yeah we definitely considered getting a wardrobe, however it's possible we might be moving house in the next 6 months or year so I was looking for maybe storage solutions that are easy to pack and take with us, rather than adding another piece of furniture we'd have to move. We did loft our beds and store stuff under there but it's all filled with my fiance's tools 💀

I just have one small closet for all of it; all seasons combined. I don’t have a lot of clothes and I make sure to throw old stuff out before buying new things. I do store my winter coats in a box under the bed

Maybe some storage bins? Then you can stack them in a corner or another room if you can.
