Hi guys so if I come off birth control for a bit and have breakthrough bleeding does that mean I’m not pregnant sorry if this is a stupid question

Breakthrough bleeding can only occur on active pills. You shouldn’t just come off the pill “for a bit”, that’s not how it’s meant to be used. A heavy bleed is a decent indication that you’re not pregnant but it’s not fully reliable. Only a pregnancy test 21 days after suspected sex will give you the answer you need.

@Athome799 that’s fine but if you used it correctly you won’t be pregnant. Be sure to use condoms and you’ll be fine.
