Hi. So, I started the yaz plus pill for the very first time on the 10th of October. It wasn’t on day one of my period, it was on day 4. I then had unprotected sex on the 17th of October and he came inside me. I had just taken my eighth pill earlier that day. Just wanted to know if I was protected at that point. I’ve seen some people say wait 7 days but then others are saying 14 days and three months. Please help me out

Oh, I see it says during the first cycle, a barrier method is recommended in addition for the first 7 days of tablet-taking. Since I had taken the eighth pill, that’s 7 days so I should be protected, right?
