However, ever since taking Slinda (over 8 months now) I seem to have my period well over two weeks then it goes for a week or two MAX and then comes back and I have it again for another two weeks solid? Is this happening to anyone else? My doctor told me I wouldn’t have a period on this pill. Just want to know other people’s experience. Thanks for reading!

While ideally you don’t bleed at all on the mini pill, irregular bleeding is a normal side effect. So unfortunately this not unusual. Maybe go back to your doctor but there’s only 3 types of mini pill (and I don’t think all are available in every region) so there might not be many options for you, pill wise. The arm implant, hormonal IUD and non hormonal IUD are other options to consider maybe?
