Hey girlies! Does anyone here has implant as contraceptive? Is it good? And do you ovulate or?

I am on my second implant. Been using it for one and a half years now. For me it’s good. No you do not ovulate.

Does it hurt when they insert it and remove? I am afraid to get it bc some said sometime the implant can move somewhere else in your body and need a surgery if that’s happen.

And I am in slinda now and want to change to implant

@yxxaanja it hurt for a moment, nothing special though. Just soreness and some bruising for a bit after. Mine stayed in the same place, you’re supposed to check the placement of it regularly and you can feel it when you push a bit into the skin. If it’s moved all throughout the body then the person hasn’t been checking up on it like you’re supposed to so that’s just fearmongering because they F’d up.
