Hey guys I have been thinking about something lately and would like some advice. I have met a new friend basically with my bf now Im scared that once we break up he’s going to choose one or the other. He said that he is both of ours friend but Im just anxious because usually it doesn’t work out when ur friends with a couple that breaks up.

^ is there a reason why this is such a concern? This is something that really only needs to be thought about if it’s actually happening. Also you have no control over that friend’s actions, so even if this was the situation you were in right now…. You cannot do anything about it. How long do you know this friend?

Where is this fear coming from? Honestly I don’t think it matters whether you break up or not; what will determine your friendship is the bond you have with them. If you’re both on good terms and have a good bond with the friend then that person can remain friends with the both of you.
