It's my first month taking the pills and I'm on my rest days. Today my period arrived but the waste is a very dark brown. This has never happened to me on the first day. Does anyone know if it's normal?

Yes, it’s just oxidized blood, which basically happens when you aren’t bleeding a whole bunch and it’s coming out slowly

It just means the blood has had time to dry. It tends to turn brown or black when dried.
