Hey girls! i just started my mili birth control about 3 weeks ago on dec 26th, 1st day of my period. my period was normal but on the third day lightened up and left but came back a couple days later. and i have been spotting almost everyday sense starting birth control, kinda mixed in my discharge a brown color but it can also be redder sometimes. Is this normal? i’m new to birth control and do not really know normal symptoms, I am also thinking about skipping my placebo pill and going straight to the estrogen ones, is this a good idea to prevent pregnancy more? or would it be the same just taking the placebo. i also have endometriosis

Bleeding during active pills is called breakthrough bleeding and is a side effect of the pill. I highly recommend reading through your pill's pamphlet , everything you need to know is listed there. Skipping break weeks is fine if that's what you want, there's no medical reason for them. But you may run out of them quicker so you need to make sure you can get a refill on time. I have no idea if pelvic or ovarian pain has any correlation to the pill, you can ask your doctor about that.
