hi everyone! i’ve just started taking my combined pill since the first day of my period for the past 5 days, im curious if taking it at different times of the day throughout the week makes any difference as i struggle a lot with getting out of bed on time to take it sometimes.

I take mine before bed because I find my evening routine is more consistent then my morning routine. You just have to make sure you are always taking it within the time frame your pamphlet indicates or else you won’t be protected.

i make sure to take it within the 12 hour time limit on the pamphlet so i am protected but i might change to a night routine as that’s when i do all the essential things like taking makeup off etc x thank you!

As long as you take it in your usage window you’re fine. But it’s recommended to take it around the same time every day to reduce side effects, so many adjusting to a more convenient time may help

I find setting a timer helps and if struggling to get out of bed in the morning, perhaps look to take it at lunch or in the evenings. As others stated above, as long as it’s within the usage time period it’s ok, however, you will notice that when you take it on different times, the app will suggest to use additional protection.
