Hi, i currently take Yasmin Combined Pill, On friday night i was sick around half an hour before taking my pill (i took it at 10pm my normal time) when i woke up i realised that pill is likely to be ineffective so i took another at 10:24am the next day. Since then (it is now the following Wednesday) i have took all my pills consistently at 10pm. Am i protected/to what extent am i protected for unprotected sex prior to being sick and since friday to now. Any advice welcome including the best way to approach this if it was to occur again. Thank you!

If you didn’t throw up after you took your first pill you didn’t need to take another one, it’s only if you throw up around 4 hours after taking your pill that you should take another one

^ vomiting only affects the pill if you throw up within 3ish hours of taking a pill.

@bluerose9 i thew up 30 mins before taking my pill so that’s still within 3 hours, does this mean the pill was affected
