I just started lucette (also known as Yasmin) for my acne, but i heard apparently some birth controls can make your boobs bigger, if any of you are on this pill could you tell me if it's made them bigger because I'm hoping mine do 😭

Any increase in breast size is usually your body's response to estrogen and would be temporary if it's caused by the pill. It's also common for breast size to fluctuate during your natural cycle and throughout your life. Changes in weight, pregnancy and hormone levels etc can affect it :) Try not to worry about it, and enjoy them as they are! I wish mine didn't get grow as big as they did (naturally due to weight) because mine dropped so much in size (F to B cup) that they sag to below my ribs and Im only 30 🥲 Having bigger boobs isn't fun either- the backpain, tenderness, expensive and "ugly" bras, lack of pleasure sensation, and difficulty finding well fitting clothes without tailoring. Now just looking forward to becoming pregnant and hopefully being able to wear some of my older lingerie 🫣

It’s not a particularly common side effect and it’s often just temporary. Only guaranteed way to get bigger boobs is surgery. I was on that pill for like 3 years and it didn’t have any effect on mine

@xNymphadora okay thank you I'm still holding hope mine will increase then even if it's temporary 😭, also i don't know if this will help but my older sister used to have bad sagging due to losing a ton a weight quickly and she managed to decrease most the sagging by massaging with oils every morning and night so if you haven't tried that i just thought I'd tell you because my sister saw a massive change in hers from doing so x

@Folisha no I’m off it now, but I was on the pill for 7 years in total and any weight changes I experienced in that time correlated with my diet and exercise habits so had nothing to do with pill. The only contraceptive method that has been directly linked to weight gain is the Depo shot. The rest may affect appetite or cause some bloating so that’s why people feel they gain weight, but it’s not a direct side effect of the pill.

And I had no unwanted side effects that pill, and when I stopped taking it the only things that changed were my bleeds/periods weren’t as regular and my acne obvs came back a bit
