Hi! I’m swapping from the evra contraceptive patch to the mini pill (Desogestrel?) today, has anyone done something similar and noticed any major side effects whilst swapping? I had none when I was on the patch besides from skin irritation due to the adhesive after a while and just want to be cautious (I have read the pamphlet inside!)

Evra is a combined method meaning it contains both estrogen and progesterone whereas the mini pill contains just progesterone, estrogen regulates bleeding so you might see more irregular bleeding and keep in mind you don't have a break week on the mini pill. But besides that it depends on the person
