I have a question about if I'm still protected? So I've been on my break week and I was supposed to start my pack last night, usually I take it at 10pm. But I just woke up at 2am, so four hours late, because my alarm never went off. I took it immediately when I woke up at 2am. Am I still protected even though I took it four hours later than usual? I'm pretty sure my birth control has a 24 hour window if I'm not mistaken, but I'm unsure if those rules still apply when it's the first pill in the pack after having a break week. My birth control is Junel Fe 1/20 btw thank you!

@bluerose9 @Yi_eune thank you!! I appreciate the help. I wasn’t totally sure about it and google wasn’t super helpful. I looked through my pamphlet and it mentioned nothing about if the time frame included the first pill or not. So thank y’all!

@Hey_idk Google is not a helpful tool when it comes to birth control. It by itself knows nothing and pulls from other sources on the internet, which can include misinformation. So be careful with that. Your pamphlet will only mention things that matter, else it would be even longer.
